ABOUT
We believe leading in children’s ministry should be a collaborative effort. We need the encouragement, support, and advice of those around us to lead strong for the sake of children’s faith. And, we believe Chicago is filled with talented, innovative, wise, and creative children’s leaders. Our vision is to introduce and unite talented children’s ministry leaders in the Chicagoland area.
LOCAL is our attempt to create a community of city and suburban children’s ministry leaders connected for the sake of encouragement and training. The Local Conference will serve as the catalyst event to launch a Chicago network of children’s leaders within the church.
Amy Dolan and Matt Guevara along with the Core Team are the co-conspirators behind this event. More than anything, they desire to create a spark, a hub, and a community for Chicago children’s leaders.
LOCAL is designed for Children’s Ministry Directors, and Key Leaders (Staff or Volunteers) serving and living within the city and suburbs of Chicago.
